Art from the Heart

The doctor is examining the patient's heart. Perhaps he is doing so to humour the patient who is painting another heart. The patient appears to have been disturbed by an observer. So whoever is looking at the painting is absorbed into it and becomes part of it As observers of the painting we are defined by the painting. We seem to be intruders and that is our essential nature. Perhaps to make sense of our situation we need to see with the heart and maybe our hearts are not looking, or lack vision. This painting is suspicious of its viewers.
